Dr Alex Dickinson - Challenge 1

Dr Alex Dickinson works on developing ways of quantifying the geothermal resource under northeast England by combining observational data and computational models. He has experience of working with a broad range of geophysical data and of collaborating with commercial partners within the energy industry.
Before joining the team at Newcastle he completed a PhD in physical oceanography at the University of Cambridge, using seismic reflection data to investigate how oceanic waters are mixed. He has a MSci in physics from the University of Cambridge.
