Pathway to decarbonisation: is there a role for gas (and shale gas) in meeting the Government's 2050 net zero emissions target?

This event was hosted by Warwick Business School at The Shard, London.
Throughout the day we hosted leading researchers, industry representatives and NGOs discussing the following areas:
Integration Event 2 Programme

• The role of gas in the UKs energy system
• Setting the context: emissions from gas extraction and use
• The role of gas in delivering the UN Sustainable development goals
• Methane fate and transport in the subsurface and atmosphere
• Lifecycle analysis

These meetings are invitation only and will be held under Chatham House rules. We plan to prepare short briefings following the events based on the presentations and discussion.
