Dr Nick Pidgeon

Professor Nick Pidgeon PhD MBE a social scientist with expertise in public engagement with energy technologies and the environment. He is PI for grants (ESRC, EPSRC, NERC, Leverhulme Trust) on nuclear power, carbon capture and storage, greenhouse gas removal, and circular economy strategies for consumption reduction. He is a co-Investigator in UKERC since 2011 (Phases 2, 3 and 4). He has extensive policy experience working with Parliament, the Welsh and Scottish Governments, DEFRA, DECC, GOScience, the Royal Society, and US National Academy of Sciences.
