Debating the Future of Hydrogen Energy - Wednesday 28 October 2020

Hydrogen energy systems have the potential to revolutionize many aspects of energy supply, production, conversion and use.  But what does a broader sociotechnical lens reveal about their potential, and their challenges?   What social acceptance issues or barriers may remain? What historical examples of energy transitions may guide contemporary policy and analysis? This presentation explores these themes, and more, with original data and a much-needed interdisciplinary focus.

Session Chair:  Professor Michael Bradshaw (University of Warwick)
