UKUH Publish 1^st Benchmark Report - Shale Gas and UK Energy Security

We are delighted to announce the publication of the first in a series of briefings which benchmark all aspects of the shale gas landscape in the UK.  In the first of this series, Nicholas Solman and Michael Bradshaw from Warwick Business School consider the relationship between UK energy security and the potential development of the domestic shale gas industry.  

In the context of a UK energy system, the report deals with the following questions: what is the likely future role of shale gas? What is the likely impact of shale gas development on the balance of payments deficit? And what are the implications of the legislation to deliver Net Zero emissions by 2050 as well as the consequences of Britain exiting the European Union.
